The selected candidate will function as Full Stack Software Engineer supporting the activities within the Enterprise Operations business area. This Enterprise IT Full Stack Engineer position is responsible for developing, modifying, testing deploying and maintaining applications in support of the Lockheed Martin Software Factory. The selected candidate will be a thought leader and a key technical resource on the Software Factory full stack engineering team. As part of a hands-on enablement service, resources on this team will pair with program engineering teams across the business. In addition to hands on enablement of program teams this position will design, develop, and release reusable components of a DevOps pipeline to be consumed by the enterprise. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Successful development, testing, deployment and maintenance of applications, incorporating agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts
•Very Strong (3-5 years industry related experience) Java or Kotlin and Python experience
•Very Strong (3-5 years industry related experience) Understanding of containerized deployment processes plus strong knowledge and experience with of Kubernetes/OpenShift
•Good (1-2 years industry related experience) experience with various AWS services including Elastic Search, Kafka, EC2, and DynamoDB
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Track record of being a self-starter and strong independent contributor
•Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and requirements
•Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
•Very Strong (3-5 years industry related experience) Experience with agile development methodologies
•Very Strong (3-5 years industry related experience) experience developing application interfaces, translations and transformations
