Senior Software Engineers participate in design, development and implementation of desktop and mobile applications, third party tool integration and middleware applications, with a strong focus on Microsoft user interface technologies. You analyze, design and develop software to support a robust set of tools and applications used by our Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM) Intermediary Sales team. As a Senior SW Engineer on this Intermediary Sales Technology team, you will help us build solutions that focus on our Sales team’s needs and optimize quality and deployment practices. You’ll help with the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment; as a member of an agile, multi-functional team. You will mentor junior developers, ensure standard methodologies are being followed and empower and support the growth and development of your peers.

The Expertise We are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or other related discipline.
- Strong development skills and 7+ years of software development experience, including Java and Spring technologies.
- Experienced with SQL/Database
- Expertise with SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
- Practical experience with the following technologies and tools: . Java, Spring (MVC, Boot, Cloud Config), Cloud (AWS), Jenkins, JIRA, Udeploy and Git.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Awareness of the strengths/limitations of current and developing technologies.
- DevOps and cloud computing skills desirable.

- Collaborating with business partners, analysts and automation engineers using an agile development methodology. In this role, you possess excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable following the standard methodologies of agile development and Extreme Programming.
