We are looking for someone with a passion for data and data quality who has a proven track record working in the Data Quality space. The person should be comfortable working as part of a Global team, and working in an environment undergoing a period of change.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or proven record of success in the following areas:
- Collaborating with Business and Data community, which includes: Data Owners, Data Stewards System SMEs, Specific programs, Territory/country-specific Data teams (CDOs), Architecture/Metadata, and Governance team;
- Using Enterprise Data Models and Data Dictionaries;
- Identifying attributes and defining DQ rules in business terms;
- Validating rules with owners, including: Supporting analysis, profiling results and playback to stakeholder groups, and working with Governance/ to agree DQ thresholds
- Understanding translation of business rules into technical rules in our data quality tool for execution;
- Utilizing data discovery and profiling;
- Testing to ensure rules meet requirements;
- Supporting the day to day operation of the service;
- Organizing a structured and analytical approach to problem solving;
- Demonstrating a proactive mind-set in dealing with challenges in a customer-driven environment;
- Understanding of data governance principles and experience on data quality development, issue management, root cause analysis and remediation;
- Developing and sustaining working relationships both virtually and physically;
- Utilizing data analysis skills including the ability to manipulate, interpret, visualise and present large datasets and analysis;
- Demonstrating mastery of data quality tools and their application in an operational process, ideally familiar with Informatica DEQ/Informatica workbench; and,
- Utilizing experience of Data Platform technologies and processes, Azure Data Warehouse, PaSS SQL. Code management/source control, e.g Azure Dev/Ops, Github.
