Job Title Implementation Engineer
Job Purpose Why Join the Enterprise Payments Solutions Team? You will enable financial institutions to streamline their payments solutions and provide new products and services to our customers across the globe. Your Day You arrive at our Berkley Heights, NJ offices. You have a short daily touchpoint with your project team. Your team is responsible for the complete implementation of our Payment Solution: installation, configuration, deployment, integration, high level design, release preparation, test support. You work closely with the client and our development and release teams to build and configure the payment solution to meet the client’s needs. You support the continuous integration and automated testing processes and work with the DevOps team to guarantee the quality of the solution delivered. Working with Business Analysts, you advise the client during their test phases and work with the Development team to analyse and fix issues. You will sit with your peers in our Lake Mary office, but will also collaborate with our Parsippany and London offices. You may travel a few week’s per year to the client’s site for meetings, workshops or installations. Fiserv is a great place to learn new skills and accelerate your career. Essential Skills and Experience 3+ years’ experience in a hands on Java development role 2+ years RDBMS experience 2+ years’ experience in Application Deployment with JEE Application and scripted tools (ant, maven) and IDE's (Eclipse, IntelliJ) Multi-threading, Transaction Management, EJBs, WebServices, JMS/MQ JEE application server experience (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss) Unit testing Degree or equivalent in a technical, engineering or scientific discipline Good communication skills Good analytical and problem solving skills Large-scale software development, ideally commercial software Highly Desirable Skills Experience in the banking or financial industry Oracle RDBMS experience Automated unit, integration, system and performance testing Experience in a client facing/implementation role Performance tuning (Application server or database) Who We Are Enterprise Payments Solutions provides best-in-class payments and liquidity management solutions that enable banks to simplify their infrastructure and deliver effective digital transformation.
