Are you a skilled business systems analyst who can communicate with partners to understand their business needs from a strategic perspective and determine the best technical solutions to achieve them? Multnomah County IT currently has a limited-duration opening for a business systems analyst to work with the Department of County Human Services (DCHS).
In this role, you will use your talent for developing strong relationships and your IT expertise to analyze current business processes, and to support the migration of data, updating of system interfaces and staff training. You will work in close collaboration with leadership and staff in the Department of County Human Services (DCHS) as well as other IT staff, focusing most of your time on defining business needs and system requirements; analyzing business processes; evaluating, testing and configuring systems; and developing and delivering staff training. You will also play a key role in business case development, and project and portfolio management.
This limited-duration role is expected to last up to two years, but may end at any time. Employees in limited-duration positions are eligible for benefits.

Advanced knowledge and skill in business intelligence technologies such as data integration, data quality, data warehousing, master data management, and data analytics. Business analysis / product delivery in a business intelligence environment
Advanced ability to audit and assess validity of data in BI/BW systems and recommend system and/or business process changes to improve data integrity.
