Kforce's Farmington, CT based client is looking for an IT Problem/Incident Manager on a contract basis! Responsibilities:
- Bug Remediation and burn-down tracking from all QA-SIT-UAT activities
- RCA (Root Cause Analysis) tracking and reporting
- Run the Triage calls during UAT (Once comfortable)
- Ensure Bug data is captured accurately in Azure DevOps
- Become an expert in Mosaic Tool to relate RCA's to Mosaic watch area's
- Act as the SME for all things Bug and Problem related across all Quality Control activities
- Coordination - Important to understand the knowledge and skillsets throughout the company, to determine which subject matter experts to engage on any given problem;The problem manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of problem diagnosis and resolution
- Communication - Maintain an overview of the problem and Incident queue, updating status, ensuring data consistencies, and keeping the affected stakeholder informed of progress
- Facilitation - Be a key member of any team created to manage a major incident and to facilitate data collection and analysis, leading to a long-term fix for the issue; This ensures a permanent solution is investigated (Root Cause Analysis) at the same time as the incident team is trying to resolve the immediate impact
- Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
- Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
