SUMMARY

As an IT Project Manager II, you will be responsible for providing project management leadership, support, and assistance in all aspects of enterprise projects and programs. This includes project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost (overall accountability through to final implementation of IT solutions). Manage on-time and on-budget delivery of medium to large new IT solutions. Responsibility for developing and meeting budget, financial goals and realizing business value.

DUTIES
  • Serve as project manager on enterprise-wide application medium to large development projects.
  • Leads efforts involving work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports within time, budget and specification constraints.
  • Leads the design, development, and implementation of work plans to determine the required tasks and resources (process, functional, etc.)
  • Demonstrates competency in coordinating all aspects of complex project involving multiple IT disciplines (DevOps, Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, etc.)
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Ensure business value realization and optimization, through delivering new capabilities, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Motivating and influencing people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
  • Identify and anticipate risks and issues; facilitate resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Work with onshore/offshore vendor partners and consultants
  • Develops proposal documents (RFI, RFQ, RFP) by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation
  • Develop, communicate, and report on project progress and portfolios to stakeholders and sponsors
  • Partners with business colleagues to develop strategic business goals for the upcoming years and assisting with estimating budgeting and scheduling of IT resources and dollars.
  • Educate business partners and other areas of the company about IT and project management enterprise-wide guidelines & best practice processes
REQUIREMENTS
  • Demonstrate knowledge of program structuring and work planning (using tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, ITIL methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills; develops companywide communications, requests for proposals, and department reports
  • Be comfortable working in a matrix environment and foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines.
