The IT Project Manager is responsible for providing overall management of assigned technology projects in support of the corporate transformation initiatives, day-to-day business operations, and our external clients and partners. The IT PM will direct and oversee the implementation and full lifecycle of cloud-based business solutions. The IT PM will regularly interface with the IT engineering resources, IT management and other line-of-business owners, to ensure speed of delivery, transparency of project work, and consistent stakeholder participation. The IT PM will have full responsibility for meeting client mandated schedules, motivating team members to complete work efficiently and accurately, and ensuring that all services are delivered according to project contractual requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and interface between technical teams and
- upstream project/program managers, business stakeholders, and external clients if
- applicable.
- Establish client and business relationships and manage expectations of project
- sponsors
- Perform all project management functions including work breakdown, scheduling, t
- tracking against the defined milestones and budget
- Review proposal or client request material, to determine the scope of the project, and
- which resource teams will need to be engaged once a project is assigned
- Request project team resources from the various matrixed support organizations
- across the enterprise
- Ability to manage a backlog/pipeline of requested work and to constantly prioritize work
- being assigned to the team.
- Ability to discuss and define the scope of the project, and gain appropriate signoffs

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, Master's Degree a
- plus. Emphasis in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Leadership
- preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Agile, DevOps, PMP, and ITILv4 based certifications preferred
- Other previous technical certifications a plus: AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.
- Working knowledge of standard Project Management tools: SmartSheet, MS Project,
- Jira, Confluence, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote
Technical Project Work Experience:
- Experience delivering complex technical projects in a medium to large size
- organization.
- Prior career experience working in a direct technical role is highly preferred.
- Minimum 4 years' experience working as a project manager, program management;
- overall technical management experience a plus.
- Recommended 7-10 years' experience working in an IT field in a technical capacity
- (operations, development, engineering, support).
- Cloud based project work preferred (AWS, Azure)
- Experience managing DevOps teams, and development projects, highly preferred
- Experience in implementing Agile based delivery for both infrastructure and
- development-oriented projects a plus
- Experience in supporting Contact Centers, Data Centers, Digital Transformations,
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Experience supporting mixed technology environments: Windows, Unix, Linux, Solaris,
- etc.
- Telecom/Network project experience preferred: MPLS, Firewalls, VPNs, VoIP, IVR,
- Contact Centers
- Facilities projects: New Builds, Moves, Shutdowns
- Disaster Recovery testing
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit/stand at a desk for up to 90% of time
- Ability to work a minimum 8 hrs. routinely
- Ability to lift or carry objects up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent use of computer screens, keyboards, telephone headsets, and other end-user
- office equipment.
- Ability to travel occasionally for key meetings
