Working with large, intricate applications, you should be comfortable navigating a complex organization, gathering information from many sources, and guiding teams to effective, tested solutions. As part of this job, youll author and present evidence-based recommendations to teams and stakeholders. This includes:
- Write application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows
- Lead and promote implementing a highly responsive user-centered design front-end architecture to support react.js concepts
- Oversee and contribute to the creation of wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, and usability tests
- Meet with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
- Work with product owners, users, and stakeholders to develop solutions that effectively solve problems and meet business objectives
- Review the existing application, understand the screen flows written in Java, and the security requirements, conduct interviews and research with our users to better understand their needs
- Research best practices and industry guidance to build better solutions
- Identify opportunities for improvement within existing work and processes
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews to gain approvals
- Provide user experience recommendations and guidance to leadership
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working as a react.js developer, preferably in a lead position.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
- Experience in integrating with backend application written in Java with strong security requirements
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Typescript, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
- Experience with user interface design.
- Proficiency in browser rendering behavior and performance.
- Experience in front-end tools (e.g. Grunt and Gulp JS.)
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and project management skills.
- Experience designing for data-heavy applications
- Work experience within health care and/or health insurance
- Experience with DevOps/Continuous integration and development pipelines
- Practical experience of developing solutions hosting within key major cloud providers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud and Azure
- Experience with technologies such as: Java, mysql database, etc.
