Must clear all BG checks before onboarding Roles and Responsibilities Will be responsible for day to day monitoring of implementation Will interact with other teams as required to resolve any production issues Will be responsible to implement, test and deploy the enhancements and fixes Will assist in creating necessary documentation to support Medtronic validation process Identify bottlenecks in the development process and implement solutions Work with developers to optimize applications for performance and scale Administer AWS/Azure resources and provide guidance on utilization Ensure we are releasing code safely, securely and frequently Investigate and adopt new technologies/tools as needs arise interact with customers and architects to properly vend an account (prod, non-prod or sandbox) define and programmatically implement standard security group parameters programmatically build servers according to a provided architecture diagram build CI/CD projects within our existing GitLab repository for application/projects research and provide guidance around new technologies required for projects be able to assume full responsibility for legacy MSP applications, providing the same level of service that is being provided by incumbent embedded Engineers operate independently without guidance from others in building new environments/applications provide training to Build or Operations personnel on existing projects, new technologies or changed processes
- 2+ year of experience as AWS developer role
- Strong understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices
- Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS
- Ability to use the AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs to write applications using security best practices
- EC2, EBS, S3, LAMDA, Code Pipe line, Code Deployment, Code repository, SSM, Cloud Watch, Container insight, CF templates, Terraform,
- Ability to identify key features of AWS services
- Proficiency writing code for serverless applications in Python and Node.js
- Experience with AWS services like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Redshift, CloudWatch
- Experience on deployment frameworks like Serverless Framework
- Ability to use a CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on AWS
- Experience on database query language
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with SDLC documentation process
- Agility to learn new skills on the job and use them as required
- Ability to adopt as cloud agnostic developer.
