Description: Our client is currently seeking a Java Full Stack Developer
Note -
• This will initially be a remote position, but State is moving towards a Hybrid model where they will ask for the candidates to be on-site for at least 2 days a week in the near future, must be local.
General Description: Resources will support agile based application development activities including creating technical design from business requirements and test-driven development for child support program area.
Duties:
1. Candidate will design, develop, and implement complex solutions based on Java technology and related frameworks.
2. Candidate will assist in the system integration of components.
3. Candidate will translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using the recommended frameworks and technology.
Qualifications:
Education Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required.
General Experience:
1. Experience in designing and developing Java programming language, scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript and web technologies such as Node.js and Angular.
2. At least 3 years of experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
3. Must have knowledge in building applications with concurrency.
4. Must have knowledge of Spring Component and Spring Framework.
5. At least 7 years of experience developing web applications using AngularJS or equivalent JavaScript framework consuming RESTful API's developed on J2EE platform.
6. At least 4 years of experience in service Oriented Architecture/Service integration with Web Services, EJB, REST and security integration
7. Practical knowledge of Jenkins. Maven and Sonar.
8. Proficiency of scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON and other front-end scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required.
2. Experience in Child Support program domain.
3. Experience working in cloud platforms and services such as Amazon Web Services, DevOps and containerized cloud environments is preferred.
4. Experience with building mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms
