This position is located in Bellevue, Washington, and is open to local candidates who are authorized to work in the US.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a junior cloud administrator (recent graduate or current student) who can assist in our cloud computing group, including infrastructure maintenance, support, planning, automation. You must have a firm grasp on Software as a Service (SaaS) technologies, platforms, applications, and automation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Working within the DevOps group you will maintain SaaS production and test environments in AWS.
  • Collaborate on the maintenance of IaaS production and test environments in AWS.
  • Run regular checks on network, data security, system audits and backups.
  • Assist team with maintenance of infrastructure controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform automated cloud deployments for business applications, monitoring and alerts, review application logs, completion of scheduled jobs & backups.
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to conduct and assist in capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot technical or functional issues in a complex financial environment to provide timely resolution, with various applications and platforms that are global.
  • Manage several streams of work concurrently.
  • Bring a passion to stay on top of DevOps trends, experiment with and learn new CI/CD technologies
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
WHAT WE REQUIRE
  • 2+ years of technical experience in a SaaS Infrastructure including Network & Security systems. AWS preferred.
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools to implement CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
  • Familiarity in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Python, Prometheus, or other monitoring tools, APIGEE, NGINX and other common platforms
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Artifactory.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hands-on experience of scripting in languages such as Perl, Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
  • AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPC's, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.
  • Experience with telemetry, system metrics, monitoring, and alerting solutions
  • Windows and Linux/Unix experience
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
