The Lead Web Developer/UX Designer will:
- Lead primary development, testing and troubleshooting of high-quality web pages
- Advise on architecture and usability patterns for the online sites and implement UI/UX best practices
- Implement and maintain design systems and create high-fidelity prototypes
- Administer the enterprise web publishing and content management platform
- Support production of web-optimized images and design elements from high fidelity comps
- Ensure best practices for accessibility and SEO are followed
- Coordinate security reviews and remediate code issues
- Research new technology and recommend technical and architectural improvements
- Lead small projects or regularly coach other project personnel to ensure systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices
- Foster and maintain good relationships with vendors, customers, security and technology colleagues
- Work well independently and as part of design and development team
- Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript development best practices
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite design software
- Perform code reviews and collaborate with other developers
- Ability to work efficiently, manage time and meet project deadlines
- Understanding of network configuration and DNS administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
