The Technology Enablement & Pipeline (TE&P) team within the Chief Technology Office (CTO) is responsible for product ownership, delivery, and operational support of the Enterprise Pipeline (EPL) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Our strategy focuses on building a fully automated (build, deploy, and test), end-to-end pipeline that includes a community driven inner source model, establishes self-service onboarding capabilities, and integrates software development lifecycle and segregation of duties controls.

We are hiring a Manager to lead the DevOps Lifecycle Management & Compliance (LMC) team within the TE&P organization. This manager will be responsible for minimizing risk exposure through identification, communication and execution of risk and compliance strategies. These strategies provide support for multiple disciplines, including, but not limited to: Risk and Compliance, Third Party product and vendor management, vulnerability management, Technology Standards Center (TSC) product ownership, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP). This team supports all EPL teams with responsibilities for lifecycle management and EPL applications. This role is posted as a Manager of DevOps Lifecycle Management & Compliance; however, the Wells Fargo job title is Technology Business Systems Manager.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Manage a team of 11+ technology systems analysts supporting risk, compliance and software application lifecycle management for moderate to complex product domains within DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Third Party Product Management: Manage the overall life and health of CI/CD products, including lifecycle management, vulnerability management, and security and configuration baseline management.
  • Vendor Management: Manage the onboarding process and is accountable for the entire lifecycle of the relationship, including planning, contract negotiation, RFPs, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Vulnerability Management: Identify, remediate and reporting on security vulnerabilities.
  • Risk & Control: Oversight for submitting and managing policy exceptions, issues and corrective actions.
  • Enterprise Compliance: Act as a liaison with external stakeholders to ensure enterprise compliance across all application BAU activities including BCP, compliance certifications/renewals, SLAs, data integrity remediation, application sunrise/sunset, exception and vulnerability remediation, etc.
  • Partner with product and engineering managers to ensure effective solution analysis, prioritization and backlog management, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of features specific to risk and compliance adherence and remediation.

Selected candidate will be required to work within one of the following Wells Fargo locations: New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Winston-Salem, NC; Raleigh, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; or Chandler, AZ. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to one of these locations. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of solution consulting experience in a technology environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a technology environment
  • 2+ years of strategic planning in a technology environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts

Desired Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Agile practices
  • 2+ years of vendor management experience
  • 2+ years of systems architecture and design experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology software: lifecycle management
  • Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
  • Experience identifying key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
  • Experience identifying inefficiencies, finding opportunities to streamline business processes, and implementing change
  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with JIRA and/or Confluence
  • Experience in one or a combination of the following tools or systems: Shared Risk Platform (SHRP), TRIMS, iTracker, Event Tracker, Operational Resilicency System (ORS), Technology Standards Center (TSC), Application Maintenance Calendaring Tool (AMCT), AppOne, Documentum, PAC2000 or similar tools
