Job Description
As a Senior DevOps, you will support an ultra-low-latency geo-distributed platform by leading and educating the team of DevOps along with developing automation scripts. You will work closely with automation tools in one or several domains (monitoring, virtualization, network).
Responsibilities
- Root cause analysis in the geo-distributed applications;
- Troubleshoot applications and infrastructure issues;
- Automate CI/CD in Gitlab/Jenkins;
- Automate any recurrent activities;
- Fine-tune OS and application;
- Develop Ansible playbooks;
- Lead and share knowledge with the team.
- BS in Computer Science, STEM, or similar;
- 5+ years of experience with UNIX server support (high-load);
- 2+ years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Postgres, Mongo, Influx);
- 2+ years of experience as DevOps or similar;
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX;
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP;
- Strong knowledge of Bash/Python;
- Strong knowledge of vSphere/Proxmox;
- Obsession with automation;
- Experience with configuring the monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, etc;
- Knowledge of C/C++ will be an advantage.
