Position Summary:

To be a technology lead in designing and implementing integrated Web software programs based on Python or REST API, with ML pipelines and deploy them in a containerized model using CI/CD pipeline. Should have at least 7+ years of relevant experience with prior experience in pharma or healthcare domain for US based customers as an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Technology – Independently, he/she should be able to design and develop APIs (using Python and REST) for integrating with UI. Set-up an API to integrate ML pipelines within a web-app. Should be good knowledge of AWS offerings, especially those related to CI/CD.
• Requirements Gathering – Understand the requirements directly from customer or from project team(s) and translate them into analytics/reporting/design workflow requirements to support executive decisions.
• Optimization – Should be able to performance tune complex SQL queries in traditional and distributed RDBMS systems. Update response model and optimization output format based on front-end requirements. Optimize and refactor code structure when required. Establish and maintain coding best practices.
• Task Management – Should be able to drive the day-to-day tasks in alignment with the Sprint plan and collaborate with team to accomplish milestones as per plan. Regularly update the JIRA with status, comments etc.
• Analytical Thinking – Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyse data, problems, and situations. Be an Individual Contributor and solve real-world problems using cutting-edge capabilities and emerging technologies.
• Handle Client Relationship – Manage client communication and client expectations independently or with support of reporting manager. Should be able to deliver results back to the Client as per plan. Should have excellent communication skills.
• Communication – Able to convey ideas and information clearly and accurately to self or others whether in writing or verbal.
• Facilitation – Facilitate interactions with other IT teams (Architecture, Infrastructure, other Application)
• Testing – Optimize and set-up advance testing for ML pipelines

Must have Skills:

• Strong engineering skills, with fluency in Python
• Experience deploying, maintaining, testing, and optimizing ML pipelines and architectures in a production environment
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL, experience working with relational databases and familiarity with a variety of databases
• Familiar with AWS cloud environment and experience with building containerized applications
• Familiar with web-app development process
• Strong skills in troubleshooting
• Experience working in an Agile environment and to write production ready code
• Self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership
• Good to have exposure to AWS cloud and its service offerings, especially EC2, AWS Lambda, ECR and CloudWatch
• Experience working in Linux environment for development and deployment.
• Experience in DevOps to enhance or troubleshoot production environment issues.
• Understanding of Machine Learning models for structured data.
• Preferred: Improve the MLOps tooling to facilitate the data scientists experience
• Good to have experience in Snowflake
