Our client is looking to add a UI Software Engineer to the team on a contract basis. You will focus on projects maintained by the Web Team with focus on presentation, UI project enhancements and maintenance. There are currently 15 developers and 1 QA on this team, and you will work with various team members depending on each project or task assigned. To be successful in this role you should have: • Strong knowledge of Angular framework. • Ability to build web pages in Angular from scratch. • Become familiar with existing web applications including the presentation layer and supporting Web API services. • Able to build and maintain Web APIs C# - .Net Framework and .Net Core. • Understanding and application of web UI design best practices UI standards etc.
Skills needed for this role: • Angular Framework v2 • HTML5 CSS • JavaScript/jQuery • Visual Studio • C# / .Net programming language including WebForms Razor pages and Blazor • Web APIs C# .Net Framework / .Net Core • Ability to use Team Foundation Services / Azure DevOps 2020 for code management merging building and releasing of production-level products. • Postman • Microsoft SQL Server Studio • Familiarity with web application best practices security standards and API standards.
