RESPONSIBILITIES
The job responsibilities of our People Solutions Specialist include:
Administration
- Handle entire onboarding process including all paperwork and orientation while working with Talent Solutions and Team Engagement team members
- Manage all aspects of compensation and benefits administration for the organization
- Work with Talent Solutions to ensure all policies and procedures are followed by state and identify resources when needed
- Create policy, process, and procedures around all HR-related topics and issues
- Manage the team member handbook, assure it’s administered and understood across the organization
- Administer and track all FMLA and all disability leave issues
- Handle HR systems and/or identifies potential tools when needed
- Create internal communication strategies (i.e., newsletter introducing team members, highlighting important dates and policies)
- Research performance compensation guidelines and communicate to leadership potential pinch points
- Conducts all exit interviews with departing team members; assists in all company retention strategies
- Work with organizational coaches to ensure and track team member engagement
- Act as liaison between coaches and team members to ensure policy and procedures are followed
- Handle the performance management process
- Partner with Growth Department on handling Glassdoor issues and responses
Required
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Previous HR Generalist experience
- Experience with compensation and benefits administration
- Previous experience creating HR policies and procedures
- Experience with HRIS systems and applications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/Google Office Suite
- 4-year degree, or equivalent experience
- Experience in HR within a services-based organization
- Experience working in small to medium size organizations
- Experience with a remote organization
- Lives in Central Ohio
- Worked in an organization with multi-state employees
- SHRM certification
- Has worked as the sole HR leader in an organization
- Technical firm experience working with developers and technicians
- HR experience working in a rapidly growing organization
