Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking an AWS/DevOps Software Engineer for the Apex Program.

In this role, you will work with an amazing team of talented software engineers who are leading the industry in ground system solutions. The Apex program provides development, integration, operations and sustainment for next generation, cutting-edge satellite ground software.
This position is located in Aurora, Colorado, and occasional travel may be required. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

Apex AWS/DevOps Software Engineer are developing an extensible framework for Mission Management, Command & Telemetry, and Flight Dynamics. Our complex domain requires innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs. On Apex you will work, develop, and improve an advanced satellite ground system.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Experience in software development, DevOps, and Amazon Web Services AWS.
- Experience with DevOps pipeline tools and technologies, including containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm) and automation tools (Chef, ArgoCD , Terraform, Jenkins)
- Experience with automation tools including Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket, Fisheye/Crucible), Jenkins/Cloudbees, TestRail, cucumber/gherkin, and DevSecOps pipeline development experience
- Experience with command line in Linux or UNIX, Java, C++, Gradle, cmake.
- Experience with at least one of the following: Systems administration in Linux systems, Troubleshooting across multiple pieces of software and system components, or Planning and/or executing software upgrades
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
It Would Be Great if You Also Had:
- Experience with Python for scripting
- AWS Associate Certification
- Experience using software development tools like Eclipse, Jira, Junit, and Git
- Experience with Agile development (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe, etc.)
