As part of the Chief Technology Office (CTO), the CTO Strategy & Transformation group provides a holistic view of the CTO strategic environment, target operating model, strategic measures, the six quarter roadmaps, and executes the CTO net promoter score to evaluate the effectiveness of CTO products. Our team interacts with key partners across the organization in driving integrated technology planning to advance speed, scalability, security, stability, satisfaction, and skills.
We are hiring three (3) Principal Transformation Leaders to join the CTO Strategy & Transformation group. These roles will be primary drivers and change agents of the operationalization of the transformation roadmap, partnering with CIO organizations, inclusive of the agile and engineering capabilities in alignment to target state tools (Jira, CI/CD, Automation Tools) and operating models (products, customer journeys). They will serve as the primary liaisons between the business units, technical partners, and various support partners in achieving business deliverables, including planning and implementation of strategies (Agile, customer journey, product transformation), policies, and process advancements. They will lead the transformation and improvement visioning for CTO leadership to understand modern Agile practices as defined by enterprise agile standards and help to create roadmaps for moving from their current to target state. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Define, plan, develop, implement, and consult on major technology and enterprise strategies, process, and on-going programs with broad cross-technology impacts (like Enterprise Architecture, CI/CD and DevOps, Middleware, IT Service Management (ITSM))
- Visualize and depict in executive level presentations deep conceptual understanding of technical concepts to solve technical problems and recommend highly effective strategies that drive transformation
- Provide thought leadership and apply areas of expertise to technology matters to develop and build support for programs that are effective and efficient
- Function as a coach/expert and council for both leaders and practitioners in the process of transformational strategies
- Lead, design and implement an effective Agile-based operational framework for the organization by understanding the need for an Agile transformation from a broader business perspective that provides for a well-integrated approach to achieve operational excellence
- Utilize data analysis, research and in depth understanding of organization goals, priorities, and technology to develop executable strategies and plans
- Create large scale strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise wide business initiatives; leveraging JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, etc.
- Generate objective key results (OKR), metrics based quarterly planning to transform the CTO portfolio and deliver business outcomes. Interpret Agile-based metrics and reporting used to design, implement, and manage an Agile-based transformation
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of strategic planning and development experience
- 3+ years of Agile experience
- 3 + years of experience leading and executing complex technology transformational programs across an enterprise
- 5+ years of Microsoft office suite experience such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
- 10+ years of technology experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using the team collaboration software Confluence
- Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
- Experience creating visually dynamic presentations
- JIRA experience
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
- Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
Other Desired Qualifications
- Deep conceptual understanding of technical concepts including Enterprise Architecture, CI/CD and DevOps, Middleware, and IT Service Management (ITSM)
