Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Project Lead to help support our Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support - Wholesale (DMLSS-W) Development program in Philadelphia, PA.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Serves as Project Lead recognized as a functional and business process subject matter expert for the applications he/she leads.
2. Directs the day-to-day activities of the technical project team (.Net Developers, Database Developers, Analysts) involved in Web-based application development.
3. Serves as liaison and Primary POC to the client Program Management leadership team (PMO). Reports weekly on project status. Provides the PMO level of effort assessment for all new requirement. Responsible for the execution of the PMO Business Review Board approved Development schedule for assigned Protects.
4. Interacts directly with customers to determine and define functional requirements. Facilitates Joint Application Development requirements sessions. Develops a strong understanding of the underlying business processes and data aligned to a systems capability.
5. Interacts with business stakeholders, customer management and operational staff.
6. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and designs complex systems solutions to provide intended business capabilities.
7. Assists in the creation of logical data models based on functional specifications.
8. Develops presentations and delivers technical and functional briefings to various technical and business audiences.
9. Serves as liaison to the client Program Management leadership reporting on project status and participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
10. Performs complex analysis of project/program data using SQL. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.
11. Develop or direct the development and execution of project Quality Assurance activities.
12. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
13. Directs the development of all necessary project deliverables.
14. Manages the project through the Application Development Lifecycle and all associated Management reviews.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a US citizen.
Active NACLC (T3) security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 7 years’ directly related experience.
Significant experience in leading the development of Web based applications.
Possess significant experience in performing complex analysis using SQL.
Proven experience in a leadership and/or management role.
Knowledge and/or exposure to at least one of the following environments: Oracle Database, .Net MVC, Angular, TFS – moving to Azure DevOps Server 2019
Proven client facing ability.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Hands-on experience with at least one of the following environments: Oracle Database, .Net MVC, Angular, TFS – moving to Azure DevOps Server 2019
Military Medical Supply Chain experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Relevant Technical Certification
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Travel Required: Less than 10%
