Have you been seeking a ground floor opportunity where your input will the groundwork for our client's future?

We have an immediate need for an IT Project Manager for our start-up government-related client in the Omaha metro. This firm will be ramping up from 5+ employees to over 300 in their first year, and hundred's more thereafter.

Your mission will include:
  • Lead the project, from analyzing and understanding customer needs, writing specifications throughl the implementation of the solution
  • Coordinate the internal and external team members who are taking part into the implementation and deployment of the solution
  • Supervise the technical teams involved
  • Deliver the projects on quality, cost and deadline
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the life of the project
  • Estimate implementation costs and staffing needs
  • Plan and distribute project tasks
  • Lead the software development process: specifications, technical design, development, sprints monitoring, tests, documentation, production and support
  • Manage vendors and partners, wherever they are located
  • Check compliance with the specifications and achievement against project objectives
  • Define and manage the scope and leads projects change requests
  • Define and monitor project risks
  • Provide regular follow-up reports to the Program Director
What you'll need to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology
  • Any additional certifications such as PMP, PbMP, PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practioner), Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications would be favored
  • 5+ years' experience leading custom software development projects or systems integration projects.
  • Experience with PEGA will put you at the top of the list!
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in agile software development
  • Knowledge of DevOps environments
  • Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based project management solutions (experience with JIRA is a plus).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, its priorities on a daily basis and its commitments (quality, cost, deadline)
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and grow professional relationships with customers (professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility …)
  • Ability to manage difficult situations, conflicts and decide objectively according to the requirements
  • Ability to be a team player and manage international teams
  • Ability to motivate, lead and manage a team
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize
  • Adaptability and autonomy
  • Ability to work onsite daily.
