The Expeditors Cybersecurity Team provides industry-leading services to our customers by protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and our customers’ electronic data. We mitigate corporate risk through analysis of threat, potential threat actors and actions and a risk based methodology based on deep understanding of our own infrastructure and potential impacts from cyber events. Strategically, cybersecurity activities both improve our security posture and reduce long-term resource requirements.

The Project Manager II/III for the IS Core Cybersecurity team will lead a number of enterprise impacting initiatives including the deployment of a new identity management solution and solutions related to our Cybersecurity focus areas of protection, monitoring, and response. The ideal candidate will adapt quickly to a dynamic environment and drive execution with the support of a motivated team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coach the team to adopt the use of Scrum/Agile/SAFe core values, principles, and practices
- Protect the development team from outside distractions
- Improve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity while maintaining a focus on daily and iteration goals in the context of the current Program Increment objectives
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters/Project Manager to deliver functioning software on a planned cadence
- Facilitate team retrospectives to foster an expectation of continuous improvement
- Coordinate and conduct daily stand-up, iteration planning, iteration review, and iteration retrospective
- Assist the Product Owner in the management of the team backlog with respect to priorities and scope
- Eliminate blocking issues that are either beyond the team’s authority or may require support from other teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of scrum master or project management experience
- Communication of status and results with technical and non-technical audience
- Familiarity with the system development lifecycle, including Agile techniques and other methodologies
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Effective at navigating ambiguity and helping diverse teams drive towards clarity and consensus
- Expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving processes
- Management of multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to recognize and mitigate risks
- Driven, strong 'get it done' attitude
- Experience or interest in the field of Cybersecurity
- Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master Certification
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Office 2013 or above, and SharePoint
- Understanding of the transportation/logistics industry
- Passion for technology
- Experience/knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
