Job Title: QA Automation Analyst

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst’s primary function is to plan, implement and execute all aspects of quality and testing. Work closely with our application development team to monitor all stages of software development. The position is also responsible for automating the execution of test cases to increase delivery speed and take initiative to evolve our QA processes. This position will work closely with our development and architecture groups focused on application and data migration to the cloud.

Create and Execute automated frontend and backend testing, validation and production sign off

Identify, Document and prioritize defects and bugs
Define testing strategy, scope and priority

Write detailed test plans that cover user story acceptance criteria and foreseeable edge cases

Participate in daily standups, user story review, estimation and sprint planning
Skills and Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology, MIS or equivalent
2+ years of hands-on testing experience in AWS Redshift, Glue and Lambda
Advanced working SQL Knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
Experience with Git and Azure Devops
Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services: Ec2, EMR, S3, RDS, Glue
3+ years software automation with object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#
Experience with Windows Service, AJAX, CSS, JavaSript, Web API
2-4+ years working in a fast-paced agile team environment
Strong planning and organizational skills with critical attention to detail
Strong agile tester with experience testing mobile application, API, database and web applications.
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multitask and manage time
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Knowledge of object oriented programming
Understand and support QA activities related to complex application and system implementation projects
