RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is currently seeking a QA Tester for our client in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate (Senior Performance Test Engineer - with a BI/DW/ETL focus) must have experience with or have previously used ETL methodology for supporting data extraction, transformations and loading processing, in a corporate-wide-ETL Solution using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF). Responsibilities:

• Assists the technical team in identification and resolution of data quality issues;
• Participate in refinement/grooming meetings and design reviews to assure testable acceptance criteria for user stories/requirements
• Plan and execute performance tests sprint over sprint

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of experience with performance testing
• 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, & ETL testing; Performance tuning and optimization
• 1-2 years of practical experience with Azure DevOps (including Azure pipelines), and working within an Agile development environment
• DW/ETL testing experience with a focus on performance testing and performance optimization of ETL jobs and stored procedures
• Experience developing a performance testing strategy for data mart and data warehouse applications
• Current hands on experience with APM tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Google Analytics
• Current hands on experience using performance test tools such as JMeter, Blaze Meter, HP LoadRunner
• Experience working within an agile development environment
• Azure cloud migration test experience preferred
• Experience with non-relational databases - such as MongoDB
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skills
• Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience using the Google suite of tools for collaboration; Testing in cloud environments: Azure, Google, and/or AWS
• Experience writing complex SQL queries
• Experience with generating and/or identifying test data sets to validate test scenarios based on business rules
• Strong experience performing data warehouse and ETL testing involving the validation/use of stored procedures, database views, SSIS packages, etc.
• Ability to review and understand existing code in stored procedures/DB Views Ability to understand data mappings in mapping documents
