Job Title: Quality Assurance - QE Manager / Lead - Expert
Duration:12+ Months
Position Purpose:
Accountable for driving quality and champion defect prevention/early defect detection and for maximizing test coverage and using business analysis, test design & test optimization techniques to optimize testing activities for the USWM ISL ( Integrated Services Layer) & CWM GIS (Global Integrated Services) Agile Teams. Responsible for developing and executing test plans for ecosystem/program/large projects (might assume planning execution accountability with consumer-side applications).
This is a hands-on technical testing role that will define industry-standard API Quality Engineering processes across several global Agile API development
Required:
- Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related (technical) degree/diploma
- 10+ years hands on experience with defining test strategy and test approach for small and medium size projects in Agile and non-agile projects
- 10+ years experience in test case design at the component/service & API integration levels with 5+ years in end to end/user scenarios and/or non-functional testing
- Experience in DevOps operations and test integration, processes and tools
- Experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed or mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases)
- Non Functional: Hands on experience working with Non-Functional Testing tools such as ReadyAPI, Postman, PACT. Experience with HP LoadRunner & application monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.) desired.
- Hands on expertise in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, SOAPUI, Appium), and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Hands-on programming experience (e.g., Java, C, SQL DB querying) and source configuration tools (GIT, SVN, MKS, etc.)
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud solutions such as ElasticSearch and Kafka and frameworks such as Spring
- Experience using source configuration tools (GIT, SVN, MKS, etc.)
