RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a growing national company is seeking a Remote Senior Microsoft Software Developer with strong Azure experience. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. Summary: This Senior Microsoft Software Developer designs and builds products using Microsoft and open source technologies in an Azure environment. The Senior Microsoft Software Developer is responsible for building creative software solutions to lead the industry, improve productivity, increase efficiency, and reduce errors happening with manual processes/workflows. You will lead the team in Azure technologies. Responsibilities of the Senior Microsoft Software Developer:

• The Senior Microsoft Software Developer will be responsible for designing software applications and processes from conception to completion, including the ability to effectively convey those designs to peers, management, and customers
• As a Senior Microsoft Software Developer, you will spend significant time in coding and delivering features
• The Senior Microsoft Software Developer will be responsible for designing and developing cloud native web applications and services
• The Senior Microsoft Software Developer will work with management to set and communicate team goals and vision aligned to business requirements; Ensure the team stays focused and delivers against the goals, adapting to changing business requirements
• Provide input into system software architecture development by working with Staff and other Software Engineers as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• As a Senior Microsoft Software Developer, you will need a B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field or equivalent work experience
• 7-10+ years of professional software development
• 5-7+ years of experience with ASP.NET, MVC/WebAPI
• Experience working with Git source control and Gitflow
• Strong competencies in C#, .NET Framework including .NET Core and ASP.NET Core
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience with various Azure services including at the production level such as some of the following is desired:

• ADLS - Azure Data Lake Storage
• ADF - Azure Data Factory
• AKV - Azure Key Vault
• ADB - Azure Databricks
• Azure SQL & Databases

Preferred experience but not required:

• Experience in distributed Software development; Microservices.
• Familiarity with PaaS and/or other Web Apps
• Experience with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes and/or CI/CD is a plus
• Working with Azure DevOps/TFS/VSTS to manage requirements, work assignments, source control and CI/CD is a plus
• Terraform, Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Network, PrivateLink/ExpressRoute, Azure certifications are plusses but not required
