This position will provide direction and expertise for the strategic cloud security transformation and address potential issues with legacy applications. This role is an information security-focused position requiring advanced knowledge and experience in implementing, monitoring, supporting, and hardening cloud infrastructure and environments. Zero trust architecture and identity management experience, working with Information Security and Dev Ops teams, and System Architects for the digital transformation of legacy applications and databases are vital for success in this position.

Responsibilities:
- Manage various data sources for relational and non-relational data using different database engines such as Postgres, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL
- Collaborate with a team of developers and business analysts to build data schemas, data dictionary and reports for various ACL applications
- Implement an enterprise data architecture solution using Microsoft Azure data factory, with Azure Synapse Data Analytics, and Azure Data Explorer
- Support and advance a strategy that, for performance and security purposes, may disconnect the applications front-end data schema from the back-end reporting schema
- Design cross-application data integration and create visualizations that give pertinent insight in ACL programs in terms of performance
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- 5 to 10 years’ professional experience in Information Technology
- 3 to 5 years’ professional experience in Cloud Security
- In-depth knowledge and experience of next-gen technical architectures, cloud infrastructures, evolving business practices, development practices,
- Strong risk management skills that enable secure business practices
- NIST, Security Controls - Advanced Understanding of Policy and Compliance
- Experience with GraphGL required
- Familiarity with schema-less database applications and tools and techniques necessary for data transformations, Risk Management and DevOps methodology
- Determine Security and Business Impact
- Experience inheriting FedRamp controls
- Ability to evaluate 3rd party tools and provide recommendations to executive-level staff
- Understanding of Microservices, API's, and 3rd Party Identity Management
- Zero-trust security management familiarity
- Incident response documentation process proficiency
- It a plus if you have experience with Microsoft Azure data factory, Azure Synapse Data Analytics, and Azure Data Explorer required; experience with Elastic Search, Power BI, Postgres and Mongo DB
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Exercise sound judgment, ask questions and be open to the input and decisions of others
- Strong organizational, administrative and project coordination skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with staff, clients, remote colleagues and supervisors, and others
