The Cybersecurity Manager at Shipt will be tasked with collaborating with the Shipt Cybersecurity and IT teams to oversee the prioritization, management, and prevention of security incidents.
You will
Manage, identify, validate, and maintain security posture for Shipt’s public cloud environments (Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud Platform)
Support and monitor Shipt’s current endpoint and security platforms (DDoS, content delivery, APIs, applications, infrastructure, VPN)
Manage the purchase, procurement, testing, implementation, and configuration of new security controls and tooling
Educate partners on cyber security best practices and manage cloud security programs
Communicate effectively and perform due diligence to drive incident root cause and post mortem processes
Assist with the design, development, documentation, and enforcement of new and existing information security processes, procedures, and policies.
Partner in the development of incident response and operations processes, structure, and evolve these procedures with the changing landscape of cyber threats
Lead efforts to create comprehensive visualizations and dashboards of environment state including collecting data to identify trends
Partner with Cybersecurity and Engineering leadership to identify gaps in detection capabilities, develop use cases, and stay abreast of threat trends and advancements
Develop vision and strategic plans
About you
Experience with cloud development practices, CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE in cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
Deep technical depth in cloud security models and cloud operations
Experience in cyber security, network security, or a security focused leadership role
Experience with planning, researching and developing proactive incident response plans, resolving system vulnerabilities, and strengthen incident response including prioritizing preventive measures
Understanding of tools and techniques leveraged to breach networks, server systems, cloud workloads or applications
Skilled at technical project management
Can work in a fast-paced company that is changing constantly.
Excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to speak to all levels within the organization
Experience in partnering with Infrastructure teams on security solutions
Proven delivery track record both as an individual contributor and security leader
Skilled at team building and passionate about technical mentorship
