KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a data governance and management program framework based on existing data governance policies
- Establish a data governance organizational structure
- Assess data catalog capabilities and implementation for metadata management
- Build a data catalog to establish data classification and tagging / data quality
- Work in a collaboration with the data engineering, platform, and data analytics teams to integrate data quality / governance operating model
- Create plans, procedures, roles / responsibilities, and guidelines for establishing a Data Governance and Quality team and outline short / long-term objectives
- Provide documented assessments, updates, guidance, and recommendations regarding data governance, roadmaps, processes, and data standards through proactive discovery
- A minimum of three years of data governance / management experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university preferred
- Understanding of data governance / data management strategy for developing and operating data management components in two service delivery models: data management services and data analytics services
- Familiarity with data management in areas of: Big Data architecture, governance, data modeling, ETL, enterprise data warehousing, analytics / management metrics
- Knowledge of data governance in the information domain of Financial / ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, advanced analytics
- U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance
