The Workplace Investing AI Delivery and Platform Data Engineering Chapter team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement and automate AI model compute infrastructure and data pipelines in support of our Healthcare AI team. We are looking for an outspoken technologist with a deep passion for data and application design to help convert code into a user-friendly fully-automated AI processing pipeline. This will help extract and derive business logic to support the migration of Fidelity healthcare recordkeeping systems and move this capability into AWS.

The Expertise You Have
- Proven track record of working in robust teams to deliver high quality data solutions in a multi-developer agile environment following coding standards and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Superior SQL skills and experience developing data transformation pipelines multiple database platforms
- At least 5 years of hands on experience with AWS infrastructure (S3, CFTs, EC2), security and data and AI pipeline technologies (RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow) and/or practical experience
- At least 3 years of working within a sophisticated Java and/or Python microservices infrastructure as either a consumer or API developer
- Experience interacting with healthcare related (plan enrollments/ claims etc) and or digital channel data (Web clicks, Phone logs, email campaigns) and or with AI/ML models or their delivery in an AWS framework (e.g. Sagemaker) a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

- Design and Develop AWS Devops pipeline to migrate applications like web services, Angular apps, AWS native components through automated pipelines using Jenkins and Concourse
- Passionate about working with data and are confident in your SQL and data movement skills.
- Self starter who is highly motivated and a quick learner.
- You should have an analytical and consulting mindset- being fearless in asking engaging questions to help tease out requirements details and technical implementation options often from more senior team members and customers.
- Strong exposure to data-centric microservices tiers using Java + Springboot or Python to consume or build tightly integrated data calculations and integration web services.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Passionate about data and technology and have experience with or an interest in AI/ML and/or the consumer experience, and healthcare technology.
The Value You Deliver
- Design/Build/Support AWS data hosting environments such as RDS/Postgres to host API-generated insights and port those results to AWS-based data warehouses for reporting
- Partner with project peers, data scientists and front end developers to build or consume API based micro service infrastructure to help process and prepare data to feed into AI based processing APIs and then expose model processed results to a client facing web environment
