Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

We’re in a rapid growth phase and are investing in our infrastructure to ensure we have a secure, solid, scalable foundation. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Brightside, you'll be improving, designing, building, and managing a scalable infrastructure that meets our security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve our HIPAA compliant infrastructure
• Work with key participants towards HITRUST certification
• Design, implement & manage performance monitoring for our systems and applications
• Regularly report and discuss performance and uptime metrics
• Architect infrastructure that can handle security and compliance requirements at scale
• Support engineering teams in enhancing the scalability, reliability, and security of our platform
• Propose and implement process and system improvements

Requirements

• Experience (4+ years) managing production infrastructures
• Experience (4+ years) managing AWS cloud infrastructures
• Comfortable working in a 100% remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Built/supported HIPAA-compliant infrastructure
• Production experience with Ruby on Rails applications
• Prior startup experience
