RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client, a growing Technology Company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. This company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, shares of stock, benefits, 401K, etc. Summary: The Senior DevOps Engineer is working directly with the Hiring Manager on this search assignment. They will lead the DevOps function across its Software Development teams. Successful Senior DevOps Engineers will have experience balancing several roles across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including coding, testing and deployment. Engineers will also have experience working cross functionally to understand the needs of the various development teams and environments and to recommend and implement best practices. This role will work to effectively maintain software development systems and to increase the overall efficiency of software releases Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Engineer:

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be guiding and assisting software development teams in building, testing & deploying regular software releases
• Assisting with regular software deployments and releases
• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be providing clear visibility and guidance for code failures in the build pipelines
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and process automation
• As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be maintaining and improving the companies cloud infrastructure deployment processes
• Implementing and maintaining necessary cybersecurity measures

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Development, IT, or similar field
• At least 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Server Management & Administration
• Command Line Interface
• Bash & Shell scripting
• Proficiency in creating and managing robust Build Pipelines
• Jenkins
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment Principles (CI/CD)
• Proficiency with AWS Provisioning & Administration (Will also consider someone with Azure Technologies)
• EC2, S3, IAM, Route53
• Experience with Docker & Docker Containerization
• Proficiency and experience with ethernet networking is a plus
• IP Addressing, Subnets & Subnet Masking is a plus
• VPN, VLAN, WAN is a plus
• Strong Proficiency with GitLab & GitLab APIs is preferred
• GitLab Pipelines is a plus
• Automated Testing Metrics (Code Coverage, Test Results) is preferred
• Proficiency in writing, debugging, and using Python code and libraries is a plus
• Working knowledge of Cyber Security is a plus
• Experience with Security and Management of SSH Keys is a plus
• Prefer Linux or OSX as your development environment
• Proficiency Linux is a plus
