A well-known SaaS company in downtown Atlanta is looking to bring on a Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 7+ years managing AWS and CICD. This company is looking for someone to join a team consisting of two Systems Engineers, one Secuirty Engineer and a few other Administrators. You will be the go to person when it comes to Cloud and Automation.
Duties will include, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated ETL solutions and data pipelines from a variety of data sources. You will also be required for maintaining software languages ideally with Python, Groovy, Bash, and SQL, as well as working with Data Platforms such as AWS RDS/Postgres, Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Glue and AWS S3. - BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, Lambda, ECS, RDS, IAM, S3, Glue, SageMaker is highly preferred.
- Experience with Docker is preferred.
- Experience coding in Python to automate ETL solutions, develop applications, and interact with cloud services
- Experience with Data Warehousing and organizing high volumes of ingested data.
- 5+ years of data engineering experience desired with RDBMS and NoSQL experience in a large production environment
- Familiarity with full-text search (Solr or Elastic preferred)
- Familiarity with Perl a plus
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD a huge plus
