Senior DevOps Engineer Job Description
A late-stage startup in Washington, DC is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. This company has pioneered a new approach to commercial real estate investment by providing the opportunity for those with limited liquid capital to invest in commercial real estate by means of crowd sourcing. They have been growing steadily and have seen user growth for their web platform. They currently have over 150,000+ active investors on the platform and are rapidly growing.
As the second hire to their new DevOps team, you will work hands-on with their product engineering teams and engineering management to source control AWS infrastructure and automate their development environment. You will also help to plan, roadmap, and perform their migration. Required Skills & Experience

- 3 years of experience in a mid-large sized AWS environment
- 3 years’ experience with IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.)
- Containerization experience (Docker, AWS ECS, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree
- TypeScript and AWS CDK experience
- Understanding of Spring Java Applications
- Understanding of scripting languages Bash, Python, TypeScript
- Up to 160K DOE
- Location – 100% remote (headquartered in D.C.)
