Senior DevOps Engineer
Position Summary:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will serve as TireHub’s SME for public cloud deployment of digital products and services. They will interface with TireHub’s Development, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams to maintain standards and ensure high reliability in all product deployments. They will help set architectural standards and assist team members in best practices.

Role Specifics:
· Maintain and provide direction for AWS cloud infrastructure.
· Design and develop tool chains for managing and applying DevOps principles, such as CI/CD automation and IaaC (Infrastructure as a Code) on our Cloud-based systems.
· Perform production deployments using Jenkins automated tools
· Create and maintain DevOps monitoring scripts
· Participate in corporate meetings regarding cloud ops direction, and provide feedback to the team
· Address cloud infrastructure issues as they arise
· Monitor system health, identify, and troubleshoot issues or vulnerabilities
· Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
· Implement security best practices and resolve vulnerabilities discovered by cybersecurity tools
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or similar related discipline is preferred, but not absolutely required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· 3+ years of DevOps experience within cloud/hosted platforms.
· Software development experience
· Experience creating automation tools and scripts to ensure proper corporate compliance
· 1+ years of experience with release management software such as Jenkins
· Experience with reliability engineering - monitoring, logging, high availability, disaster recovery and alerting
· Experience with network routing, peering, SSH tunneling
· Network troubleshooting
· AWS experience required, Azure experience or exposure nice to have.
· AWS technologies including VPC, EC2, ELB, ECS, ECR, S3, SQS, SNS, CDK
· Experience with containerization (Docker) and/or orchestration (e.g. ECS, Kubernetes)
· Experience with Git for maintaining code repositories
· Incident tracking software such as Jira
· Systems administration in Windows and Linux platforms
· Experience with Terraform and Ansible
