ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with a team of software developers, bioinformatic scientists, biochemistry scientists and engineers to enable the delivery of software features
- Interact with corporate IT to support scientific high-performance computing environment
- Develop and maintain tooling and automation for processes and pipelines
- Maintain software artifact repositories
- Integrate and improve test automation frameworks and tooling
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Secure and manage scientific computing infrastructure
- Develop, monitor and optimize software and hardware solutions
- Experience with CI/CD, build and software release tools such as Git, Jira or Jenkins
- Experience developing in C++ or scripting in Bash, PowerShell, CMD, Python and other languages
- Experience supporting high-availability systems
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience administering virtual machine and bare-metal systems
- Familiarity with best practices for IT operations
- Familiarity with high performance compute (HPC) technology
- Experience developing in C++ or C# a plus
- Experience with hardware-acceleration libraries a plus
- BS, MS, or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- 4+ years of experience in similar industry and role
