Overview of Position
Our partner has multiple projects kicking off in August/September 2021 with the need to add multiple Senior QA Architects for 3-month contracts with the likelihood that they'll be extended through 2022.
Quality Assurance Architect (Level III and IV)
Lead planning, design, maintenance, and execution of system testing on simple to complex project implementations. Works collaboratively to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.

Overview of Position

Quality Assurance Architect (Level III and IV)
Lead planning, design, maintenance, and execution of system testing on simple to complex project implementations. Works collaboratively to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead testing (team) to the success of the project
- Ensure all resources assigned to the project adhere to the defined processes
- Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery
- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects spanning across all practices and for projects of varying size
- Review user acceptance criteria and run test scripts for projects against defined criteria
- Review, analyze, and understand the requirements of projects to identify gaps in requirements
- Plan the test schedule and monitor execution per the plans and adjust schedules as needed
- Execute testing on all test plans, test cases and test scripts
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve project and test issues
- Assume accountability for QA related activities such as test planning, status reporting, test summary report, root cause analysis, etc.
- Analyze metrics and call out the analysis clearly to the project teams
- Manage risks and issues, plan for mitigation and contingency, and escalate appropriately
- Assess the quality, analyze the business impact, determine associated technical and functional risks and if any corrective/preventive actions need to be taken
- Validate user expectations are met during the testing process
- Identify, recommend, and document quality assurance and test practices
- Coordinate the implementation validation activities with the deployment team, and ensures that QA is specifically called out in the deployment plan
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager of any changes with test results
- Identify and communicate business risks relative to testing and implementation for evaluation by project teams and management
- Perform basic business analysis and project management responsibilities
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other related discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- 5-8 years of equivalent work experience required both creating test process and execution
- Experience creating and executing test plans and test scripts
- Experience designing and executing the testing process
- Experience with managing test/development data
- Experience with defect analysis
- Able to demonstrate ability to document, analyze, track defects, and communicate testing results
- Familiarity with all aspects of Quality Assurance testing, Quality Control, and testing software
- Demonstrate proficiency in the quality and quantity of test case procedures, test scripts, identified defects, defect reports
- Preferred Tool experience in Azure DevOps
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Ability to assess perceived quality, business impact and associated functional and technical risk
- Testing certifications a plus
