Job Description

Description:

• DevOps team is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help lead, design, test and build the next generation of our large-scale cloud offering. You will be working on the core compute platforms and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Building performance test suites for services hosted in Microsoft Azure (Node.js, JS, ActiveMQ, microservices, Postgres).
• Develop tools and scripts to facilitate integration, testing, and deployment of scalable, secure, performant, and mission-critical web applications, services, and infrastructure.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide solution recommendations.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5 years of experience doing development in any of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang.
• Experience with automating manual processes and building performance test tools for services hosted in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in performance debugging of multi-node (distributed) systems on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience architecting, managing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems (TCP/IP, Load balancing, distributed transactions, session handling, rate limiting, dynamic scaling).
• A good understanding of modern, cloud centric architectures and microservices.
• Understanding of the Linux Operating System, standard networking protocols, and components.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in computing, distributed systems, storage, or networking.
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, logstash, kibana).
