Ribbon is looking for a technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate Software Engineer for our Ribbon Call Trust Software-as-a-Service stream-aligned team. Ribbon Call Trust is a comprehensive solution designed to validate a caller’s identity, intent, and reputation. Ribbon Call Trust leverages several Ribbon solutions, including its industry-leading Session Border Controllers (SBC), Media Gateway (GSX), Policy and Routing (PSX), Call Controllers, Ribbon Secure Telephony Identity (STI), Ribbon Analytics, and Ribbon Identity Hub. The Ribbon Identity Hub is a new solution that serves as the central processing point for identity data and machine learning (ML)-based reputation assessment. The solution is cloud-ready and optimized for both private and public cloud environments.
Ribbon Call Trust team uses Agile software development methodologies and operates in the stream-aligned model, responsible for end-to-end solution delivery.
The stream-aligned team is responsible for the SaaS architecture, design, development, and operation of the service (aaS). Ribbon Call Trust team operates in a fast-paced and highly experimental fashion. In this role, you will develop micro-services and look into DevOps and service management aspects.

Required Skills
- BS/MS degree in Computer science or related fields or equivalent experiences
- 3+ years of relevant experience in building production-scale systems, preferably in the public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Experience building REST APIs, expertise working with data structures and algorithms
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience applying modern design patterns, and hands-on experience in any one modern programing language, preferably GO. Proficient in a scripting language (preferably Python) is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with Kubernetes Container virtualization
- Deeper understanding of the micro-services design architectures is highly desirable.
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and great team player
- Working knowledge of these technologies
- Relational and non-relational DBs
- Public cloud services (preferably AWS)
- CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Agile Software Development methodologies
