The North American Solution Delivery Selling & Store Operations Team is responsible for managing Front and Back of Stores solutions within TJX IT. The organization delivers capabilities to the stores that enrich the Customer and Associate experience and provide business value. We seek a motivated, talented, experienced Solution Engineer/Architect to help guide the lifecycle of these capabilities through planning, design and delivery within Back of Stores modernization strategy.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the technology associated with the Back Office (operations, productivity, product flow, etc) solutions for a cross functional set of North American users. Using your Engineering mindset, you will help deliver solutions to our rapidly growing US and Canadian partners. Your core responsibilities will include leading a team of engineers through technology modernization, establish and enforce engineering best, drive technology roadmaps supporting lifecycle management and design and identify solutions supporting business objectives and practices. You will work in a fast-paced environment which will challenge you to think creatively and exhibit an agile mindset. All the solution delivery work will be done within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Our ideal candidates will have primarily solution architecture and core engineering experience with web applications, mobile etc., and cloud to help further support the back of stores modernization, one who is familiar with the challenges of designing, developing, and deploying software leveraging Microsoft Azure as cloud, as we continue to modernize our back of stores infrastructure.

In this role you will be doing following;
- Act as a Lead Engineer capacity in modernizing back of stores systems by solutioning, prioritizing, providing guidance and resolving issues
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Product and Stores Engineering teams to estimate, design, code, deploy and support working software components
- Contribute the overall back of stores roadmap, new technology etc., and responsible for the evaluation, demo of the new technology and the solution
- Adhere to the corporate security compliance, performance etc., ensure platform is built with High Availability, Recoverability etc.,
- Produce and review design documents with Enterprise Architect and Engineering leads to make sure it's aligned with overall enterprise strategy
- Recommend optimized design solutions, perform solution deficiency analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Strong problem-solving abilities when working on complex technical problems
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with peers inside and outside of the IT organization, and maintain them over time
- Develop and enforce standards and tools to increase organization effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvements in process and operational efficiency by reducing operational burden
- 8+ years of Engineering & IT experience
- 5+ years of Designing and Developing API's using Java, Spring, C# or.NET framework and API Gateway's like Apigee, Layer 7 etc.,
- 3+ years of experience on Azure Infrastructure
- 5+ years of Xamarin, .NET MAUI etc.,
- 5+ years of experience working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.,
- 2+ years of experience with Containers, Kubernetes etc.,
- 2+ years of experience with Agile and DevOps tools such as Git/Gitlab, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence etc.,
- 2+ years of experience with Angular JS, React JS etc.,
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) Development and Configuration Experience
