Summary:
Global Fortune 100 IT Services company is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing team. This opportunity will bring a flagship cloud marketplace environment, engineered using the latest in technology.
- Leads, designs, builds, and tests system automation. Steers technology direction and shares relevant knowledge with the team.
- Works with business and development partners to shape the architecture, design, and implementations of future and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, scalability, capacity planning, and configuration management.
- Identifies manual processes used by development and operations partners and provides automation when possible to eliminate manual intervention. Implements software and tooling to improve resilience and automate operations.
- Works with development and operations partners to understand and use capacity planning to deal with organic and inorganic service growth.
- Experience with Dynatrace is a must have
- Experience with design, implementation, and support of monitoring tools (such as Dynatrace, Splunk) in a complex, multi-platform environment.
- Experience working in cloud services (Azure & AWS)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting or comparable scripting and automation tools
- Experience with Agile SDLC practices with a strong focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline automation and tooling, DevOps, distributed version control system, and Agile methodologies
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting computer and information systems.
- Experience with application performance management and web-based technologies.
- Software development experience in at least one programming language (Java, Python preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
