Job Description:
ECS is seeking a Software Developer - Front End (Web) to work in our Fairfax, VA office supporting the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Solutions for a DoD customer.

The ideal candidate has worked throughout the front-end on web applications, and understands client/server infrastructure, has worked extensively with at least one JavaScript framework (including but not limited to Angular, Vue, Ember, etc), and can debug and implement CSS. Strong user interface design skills are critical. This is a front-end heavy role, so recent experience with react framework (16.8+) is required

• The candidate will develop software systems on cutting edge Artificial Intelligence applications that meet customer use cases for critical DoD missions.
• The candidate will have extensive experience in system design, computer applications, technologies, troubleshooting, and application security.
• The work is performed in a multidisciplinary team environment in an agile project framework.
• The candidate is highly motivated and enthusiastic about implementing new technologies in a small team environment.
• The position requires skills in front-end web application development.
• The candidate has experience working with React framework (16.8+)
• The candidate understands client/server infrastructure and has worked extensively with at least one JavaScript framework (including but not limited to Angular, Vue, Ember, etc)
• The candidate can debug and implement CSS and possesses strong user interface design skills

Required Skills:

• Secret Clearance Eligible.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Full stack application developer
• At least 8 years of experience.
• Experience with React UI or related UI frameworks (e.g. Angular).
• Experience with Redux
• Experience with AWS Cloud Tools.
• Experience with JavaScript.and TypeScript
• Experience with agile and DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Ansible, Junit, Docker.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them.
• Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution.
• Aptitude for picking up technology quickly along with a desire to learn and progress.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
• Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges and enjoys working team collaboration.
• Ability to develop, communicate, and lead technical solutions
• Ability to guide and mentor more junior members of the team

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Java (highly preferred)
• Experience with or exposure to Spring, Spring boot, JPA and Hibernate frameworks (highly preferred)
