Overview
Summary: The IT Software Development Manager directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates all activities related to Strata Solar software development. The IT Software Development Manager works with the Business Analyst to design, develop, and maintain software solutions. Software development solutions will support all areas of the business, including accounting, engineering, construction, asset management, monitoring, and business management.
The successful candidate will be self-driven, enjoy learning, experienced in managing a software development team, and is comfortable working in a growing company within a growth industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
\u2022 Work with Strata Solar leadership to plan and strategize for business growth and to meet business objectives\u2022 Oversee, design, build and support software solutions using Microsoft development technologies and best practices.\u2022 Work with Business Analyst to collect, document, and to convert requirements into a solution design.\u2022 Assist Business Analyst with reviewing and clarifying system and end-user documentation to support new system implementation, enhancement deployment, and incident management efforts.\u2022 Build and prepare solutions for release to the Production environment.\u2022 Provide ongoing technical support for Production Software systems including analyzing issues, defining and implementing initial fixes and/or workarounds, designing and implementing permanent solutions, and assisting with any data cleanup efforts.\u2022 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.\u2022 Protect organization´s value by keeping information confidential.\u2022 Participate in information technology projects as required.\u2022 Create and maintain IT software development project plans and providing time estimates for assigned work.\u2022 Other duties as required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
\u2022 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field and 5+ years' experience in IT Management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job.\u2022 Experience with management in an information technology role.\u2022 Proficient with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.\u2022 Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.Net.\u2022 Experience with Development Methodologies such as Agile.\u2022 Experienced with SQL Server development and database design.\u2022 Experienced in using Web APIs including SOAP and REST.\u2022 Experience with source control systems, especially Azure DevOps/GIT.\u2022 Experience with Azure and Office 365 is preferred\u2022 Experience with SQL Server Integration Services or other ETL tools is preferred.\u2022 Experience with SharePoint development, configuration, and administration a plus.\u2022 Experience with Reporting and BI tools preferred.\u2022 Experience with Testing and Debugging tools a plus.\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills\u2022 Experienced in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\u2022 Familiar will Modeling and diagramming tools.
\u2022 Training or experience with standard IT processes, such as ITIL or ISO IEC a plus.\u2022 Training or experience with IT NERC CIP processes or other regulatory processes a plus.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
\u2022 Work is performed in an office environment.\u2022 Less than 5% travel.
