In addition, you will be:
- Developing and supporting high quality John Deere web and mobile applications
- Engaging in all aspects of the software delivery cycle including the design, build, test, deploy, and support of software applications
- Engaging in Agile software development activities including team sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Supporting a culture of software craftsmanship best practices including Test Automation, Continuous Integration/Deployment, and DevOps methodologies
What Skills You Need
- Experience with JavaScript, React.js, or Node.js in building web-client or server-side applications/services
- Experience working on a team developing software leveraging Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience with Test Driven Development and/or Acceptance Test Driven Development
- Experience with Continuous Integration and build pipeline deployment automation
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with multiple programming languages or frameworks such as Redux, MobX, Java, Spring, etc.
- Experience leveraging AWS services (ECS, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, etc.)
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
