Primary Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing/coding software components including web applications, middleware and services on Java, GraphQL, ReactJS, CHEF, Python
- Design, build and deploy elegant backend and API framework-based solutions
- Support all aspects of Java development both Front End and Back End (designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining products)
- Maintain high standard of code quality and unit test coverage

Required Qualifications:
- BS and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4+ years of software development (and design) experience using modern languages (Java, Python, CHEF, ReactJS)
- Experience with testing practices, processes and artifact creation
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Understanding of databases (RDBMS, NoSQL) and should be able to run queries to pull data
- Proficient in REST based APIs, Apache Kafka, K8s / OpenShift, DevOps
- Proficient with data structures, algorithms and systems architecture
- Knowledge in microservices development using frameworks like Spring Boot, Dropwizard, etc.
- Knowledge of containers / dockers
