Job Description

We are seeking for a talented Software Engineer with DevOps and SRE experience to join our Operations and SRE team supporting Sabre Red 360 product. The team is responsible for the maintenance of Sabre Red 360 system which includes full production system ownership, CI/CD and automation, release management, infrastructure stability, monitoring, alerting, security, production support and configuration management. Sabre Red 360 will be the main access point to all Sabre services for Travel Agencies and 3rd party tools. We employ latest technologies and practices to handle high volume of transactions supporting millions of traveling passengers daily.

  • An individual with deep passion for innovation and performance, to work in the DevOps/SRE team.
  • Act as part of a DevOps team that maintains extensive development and test environments using Continuous Delivery methods
  • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
  • Responsible in setting up and creating GCP deployments, administration, Operations and maintenance
  • Should be able to drive root cause analysis for production issues and continually evaluate and improve our processes and application standards
  • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Responsible for managing and facilitating product releases
  • Have on call responsibilities in rotation with the engineering team
Job Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent3+ years of DevOps experience in a Linux environment
  • 3+ years of DevOps experience in a Linux environment
  • 2+ years of experience with either GCP or AWS
  • Knowledge with Red Hat Linux; must feel comfortable with scripting in bash, python
  • Knowledge of applications using Java, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, Linux
  • Knowledge of build and deployment tools such as Ansible, TeamCity or Jenkins
  • Knowledge of Version Control Software (Git preferred)
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (Google SRE) concepts
  • Knowledge about Agile processes and tools (Kanban or Scrum methodology)
  • Proactive team player with the ability to work in a globally dynamic environment
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
