The Solution Architect role is responsible for defining the overall structure and design of a system. They will work in conjunction with the product teams and engineering to understand the needs of the business while ensuring there is no compromise on quality of the overall design. Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other architects on the system design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software
- Collaborate with other architects on the system design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software
- Establishes best practices and a technical roadmap
- Creates and delivers necessary architecture diagrams and documentation
- Shares and communicates the architectural vision with the teams within the Train
- Participate in design reviews and conduct walkthroughs at various stages during the development life cycle
- Communicates vision to the Enterprise Architecture Review Board
- Supports in the development of necessary POCs to evaluate efficacy of a technical solution
- Participate and building of engineering goals / OKRs
- Shares informational and instructional knowledge of new technologies and frameworks to the IT team
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience as stated in the minimum qualifications
- 5+ years of Solutions Architecture experience
- 2+ years of experience with cloud computing experience (prefer Azure)
- 2+ years of experience leading architecture using modern software engineering and product development tools including CI/CD, DevOps, etc.

- 2+ years of Agile delivery experience
- Experience provisioning cloud services using Terraform or similar methodology
