8+ years of experience working on a DevOps, Automation, Build, Infrastructure Engineering team with a focus on cloud technologies, preferably in a regulated, SaaS environment.
Container orchestration using Kubernetes is a must.
Proficient in Linux, Shell, and Bash scripting.
Experience with Security and Encryption in all areas of the cloud and VPC, at rest and in transit.
Experience provisioning and configuring repeatable, highly available infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Familiarity with microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CNF
Understanding of secure cloud networking such as VPC peering, flow logs, ACLs, and Guard Duty logs.
Experience leading technical projects with a team of engineers.
Outstanding & proactive oral and written communication skills - with colleagues, mentees, and customers.
Bachelors or Masters in CS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, or related field.
Desired additional experience:
Experience with build automation, security and performance monitoring tools
Cloud infrastructure monitoring systems including Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana
Kubernetes administration (bonus points for CKA certification!)
Helm chart authoring and/or significant customization
AWS services including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS
AWS VPC management with Terraform
Jenkins administration and/or pipeline development
Experience with Docker, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ are a big plus
Experience in applying CIS benchmarks
