Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated software Engineer Lead to be part of our DevOps group which enables GFT Data Services organization to deliver software quickly, frequently and reliably to their respective business units.
As a member of the DevOps team you will build and roll out Citi’s key pipeline technology across multiple applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain expertise in many different tools and technologies; make an impact in a large organization; and gain exposure to the GFT business and technology initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in development of Infrastructure solutions for large organizations. It is expected that you will have superior technical knowledge of platform administration, technologies and other leading edge development tools
GFT Data Services platform is a global Data Repository of Contracts, Position and Balances for all of Citi’s assets and liability. This data repository is built on Enterprise Data Standards and anchored to the financials, for the use of Finance and Risk regulatory and management reporting. The team is working on an exciting modernisation and simplification program, aligned with latest technologies.
The specific team you will be joining is responsible for - Ensuring resilience/ system stability and up-keeping of the application, Building and maintenance of environments for testing, Providing support to end of version upgrades, Implementing DevOps CI/CD processes, Capacity review /planning and Provide infrastructure solutions and support for System re-engineering.

Responsibilities
- Implement DevOps, CI/CD process across the functional area
- Understand and optimize existing systems
- Provides guidance to technology teams on Citi Architecture Policy
- Propose and plan for tailor-made solutions
- Design infrastructure flows based on current situation and analysed needs
- Researches future industry trends
- Produces reports and metrics related to application/technology state and trends
- Exhibits sound understanding of concepts and principles of application development/architecture
- Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical manner
- Create tactical dashboards and scorecards
- Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production
- Engages in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality
- Coordinate new solutions’ deployments
- Facilitate audit and system compliance
- Write user guides related to new solutions
- 6+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering DevOps
- 5+ years experience on Latest DevOps techstack, Jenkins, SonarQube, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Doker, Maven,Teckton, Helm, Terraform, Harness, LightSpeed etc
- 5+ years experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications
- Issue tracking and reporting using tools
- Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools
- Good all-round technical skills
- Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
- Ability to plan and organize workload
- Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
